  • Account data (name, email, company, billing address) via Clerk and Stripe
  • Payment data (processed and stored only by Stripe)
  • Usage and analytics data (IP, browser, pages visited) via Google Analytics, PostHog, etc.
  • User Data you upload (task synopses, etc.)

2. How We Use Data

To provide the Service, process payments, communicate with you, improve the Service, and comply with law.

3. Legal Bases (UK GDPR)

Contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where given), and legal obligations.

4. Sharing and Sub-Processors

We use sub-processors including AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, SendGrid, PostHog, Clerk, Stripe, Mailchimp and others.

4.1 AI Model Sub-Processors

Features involving embeddings or AI send your note data unencrypted to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, xAI/Grok, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Mistral, Cohere, private/self-hosted instances, etc.). These providers act as independent controllers or sub-processors and will receive the plain-text content you submit. Do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential data if you do not want it seen by them.

We do not sell personal data.

5. International Transfers

Transfers outside the UK are protected by adequacy decisions or UK International Data Transfer Agreements / standard contractual clauses.

6. Your Rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Contact us via /contact. Complaints may be made to the UK Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).

7. Retention

Account data retained while active + 7 years. User Data deleted 30 days after termination (unless legal hold).

8. Security

We implement industry-standard measures, but no system is 100% secure.
